The ideal candidate will have a passion for craftsmanship and a keen eye for detail in restoring and creating upholstered furniture. This role involves working with various materials and techniques to fabricate, sew, and assemble high-quality upholstery for a range of products, including furniture and automotive interiors. Pay rate is based on a per piece basis. Average entry to mid-range is between $1,200 - $1,500 per week. Duties Utilize power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble upholstery components. Operate sewing machines to stitch fabric, foam, and other materials according to specifications. Fabricate custom upholstery pieces based on design requirements and client preferences. Conduct auto restoration projects by reupholstering seats, panels, and other interior elements. Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments or repairs. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship. Skills Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to upholstery work. Experience operating sewing machines with the ability to sew various types of fabrics. Strong ability to fabricate custom pieces tailored to specific designs or requirements. Knowledge of auto restoration techniques related to upholstery is a plus. Attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship in all aspects of work.
