Position Summary The Detail Technician is responsible for thoroughly cleaning, restoring, and protecting the interior and exterior surfaces of customer vehicles in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Clean, detail, and refurbish new and used vehicles to company standards. Apply proprietary detailing and protection products to customer vehicles. Detail vehicles, ensuring a showroom-quality finish. Clean vehicle interiors, including carpets, upholstery, dashboards, windows, and trim. Inspect vehicles for noticeable defects such as dents, scratches, stains, or upholstery damage and report findings to management. Operate detailing equipment and utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow company procedures and safety guidelines at all times. Provide excellent customer service and represent the Ziebart brand professionally. Assist with other automotive appearance and protection services as needed. QualificationsRequired Skills and Abilities Ability to read and understand printed and graphic materials. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Comfortable and competent using basic hand and power tools. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Reliable, punctual, and motivated to learn. Education and Experience Previous automotive detailing experience preferred but not required. Paid training provided. License Requirements Valid Driver's License required. Ability to safely operate customer vehicles. Physical Requirements Must be able to bend, kneel, twist, crouch, and reach to access all areas of a vehicle. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions typical of an automotive service environment. Benefits Competitive wages and benefits package.
