Upholstery Seamstress

Headboards World is a growing custom furniture manufacturer and retail showroom specializing in custom upholstered beds, headboards, daybeds, banquettes, sofas, and luxury furniture. We are looking for an experienced Upholstery Seamstress to join our production team in Addison, Texas. This is not clothing or alterations work. We are looking for someone with experience sewing upholstery fabrics and producing high-quality covers for custom furniture. Responsibilities Sew fabric panels for custom upholstered beds, headboards, daybeds, banquettes, ottomans, and seating Read work orders and follow production specifications Pattern match designer fabrics when required Sew welting, piping, boxing, cushion covers, skirts, and upholstery components Work with premium fabrics including linen blends, performance fabrics, velvets, woven textiles, and designer materials Maintain consistent quality and attention to detail Work closely with cutters, upholsterers, and production staff to meet deadlines Qualifications Upholstery sewing experience preferred Ability to operate industrial sewing machines Experience with pattern matching is highly preferred Ability to work with both solid and patterned fabrics Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship Reliable attendance and positive attitude Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Compensation Competitive pay based on experience Full-time position Monday-Friday schedule Stable year-round work Opportunity for growth within a rapidly expanding furniture manufacturer
