Job Description

The base hourly range for this role is $23.36•$29.20. Final salary offers are determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, specialized skills, and certifications.

Purpose and Scope of Job:
Performs various repair, assembly, sub-assembly, cleaning, and coating operations in an aftermarket production area requiring general physical dexterity, machine monitoring, inspecting, and collection of relevant data. Perform assembly and all support functions across all products as customer demand dictates within the workday. Essential Functions (other duties may be assigned): Evaluate returned units to assist in determining scope of repair. Able to operate machine tools and weld shop cutting equipment. Perform non-destructive testing, inspection, and disassembly. Update inspection information and process steps in PGN. Maintain work area through good housekeeping habits. Maintain order and arrangement of units in the respective 'waiting for inspection', 'waiting for disposition', and 'waiting for job generation' areas. Execute and document scrap orders. Make recommendations based on either experience or research to improve processes with the Aftermarket Department.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent with at least five (5) years industrial condition monitoring, repair or reliability services experience, or an Associate's Degree with three (3) years' experience, or equivalent experience. Five (5) years of assembly experience, or a combination of assembly and equivalent experience. Working knowledge of the operating characteristics of rotating machinery. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Must have clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written and be detail oriented. Mechanical aptitude and basic knowledge of skilled trades including welding, metal fabrication, electrical and pipe fitting. Ability to read and comprehend technical drawings, equipment manuals, and assembly procedures. Ability to make simple outline drawings with details to assist quoting, engineering and reassembly.
