Manufacturing Full Job Description The Role:
We're looking for a reliable and motivated Shop Assistant / General Shop Hand to help support day-to-day operations in our fabrication shop. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who wants to learn the fabrication trade, work with their hands, and grow with a company that's expanding quickly. No two days are exactly the same — some days you'll be helping with simple fabrication tasks, organizing materials, cleaning and prepping projects, or assisting welders and fabricators. Other days you may be making deliveries, picking up parts, loading materials, or helping keep the shop running smoothly. We're willing to train the right person. What matters most is having a strong work ethic, being dependable, and wanting to learn. If you like staying busy, working around cool custom projects, and being part of a small hardworking team — you'll fit in great here.
What You'll Be Responsible For:
Assisting fabricators and welders with day-to-day shop tasks Material prep, grinding, cutting, cleaning, and basic assembly work Organizing tools, materials, and shop areas Loading and unloading materials and finished projects Making deliveries and picking up parts or materials Operating forklifts and small equipment (or willingness to learn) Helping maintain a clean, organized, and efficient shop Assisting with simple fabrication tasks and learning shop equipment over time
What We're Looking For:
Strong work ethic and dependable attendance Positive attitude and willingness to learn Comfortable working with tools and in a shop environment Ability to lift materials and stay active throughout the day Driver's license with clean driving record Forklift experience is a plus, but not required Mechanical aptitude is a plus Some fabrication experience required — willing to train the right person

We're a small but rapidly growing fabrication shop focused on quality work and building a strong team. We're looking for people who want to grow with us and be part of something long term.
