Job Description

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic veterinary assistant/receptionist/licensed technician to join our team in our fast pace, high volume clinic. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a passion for animal care and the ability to multitask efficiently. Berry Animal Hospital has been providing veterinary care to the community since 1952. When applying please ensure that you have a positive attitude, flexible schedule, reliable transpiration, work well in a fast pace and potentially stressful environment and can work well within a team. At Berry Animal Hospital you have the potential to work with large and small animals as well as occasionally work with exotic animals. The assistants/technicians daily tasks include but are not limited to: place clients and pets in rooms, assist the veterinarians in the rooms during examination/vaccinations, administer medications/vaccinations/treatments as directed by the veterinarian, calculate medication dosages as well as correctly fill the aforementioned medications, collect and prepare laboratory samples (such as blood/urine/feces), assist the receptionists if/when needed, attend to the hospitalized pets when needed, restock and ensure rooms are fill with the appropriate items and assist in surgery if/when needed. Our work schedule is as follows: Monday 7:30am
  • 12pm and 1pm
  • 5:30pm Tuesday 7:30am
  • 12pm and 1pm
  • 5:30pm Wednesday 7:30am
  • 12pm (rotate every other) Thursday 7:30am
  • 12pm and 1pm
  • 5:30pm Friday 7:30am
  • 12pm and 1pm
  • 5:30pm Saturday 7:30am
  • 12pm (rotate every other) Sunday
