Veterinary Assistant

Seeking a responsible and motivated individual who likes to work with animals and people. We are a fun loving practice who tries to foster a healthy work life balance while maintaining a professional and efficient practice to provide top notch care to our fur friends and pet parents. Job responsibilities include restraining animals, setting up lab tests, client communications, feeding and caring for a variety of animals, cleaning and maintaining equipment, routine cleanup and maintenance required for the clinic, performing baths, assisting in surgery, filling prescriptions, and other task to fully assist the veterinarian.

Requirements:

Must have a can do attitude and be willing to fill in and be a team player. Must be able to lift 50lbs and be comfortable around a range of different animals. Some weekend work is required. Ideal candidates have 1+ years of experience working with animals and/or in a medical environment but on the job training and mentor ship may be available.
