We're looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team! This role is ideal for someone with previous VA experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about patient care.

Responsibilities:

Restrain and triage patients, collect and analyze lab samplesAssist with diagnostics, surgery, and anesthetic monitoringProvide nursing care for hospitalized patientsAdminister medications and communicate treatment plans with clients

Requirements:

Prior VA experience strongly preferredComfortable with animals, clinic sights, sounds, and odorsAbility to work safely around potential bites, scratches, or contagious diseases

QualificationsWe're looking for:

Experienced Veterinary Assistant with at least 1 year of hands-on experience preferredCompassionate, calm, team-oriented, and able to multitask effectively with strong communication skillsSkilled in safely restraining petsProficient in sample collection, medical history intake, lab work, radiographs; anesthesia monitoring is a plusSelf-motivated with a desire to grow skills and advance professionallyAdditional InformationWe offer our staff:
