Job Overview Join our dynamic veterinary team as a Veterinary Assistant and Customer Service Representative, where your passion for animal care and exceptional client service will make a meaningful difference. In this role, you will provide vital support to our veterinary staff while ensuring our clients and their pets receive compassionate, professional attention. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a welcoming environment that promotes health, comfort, and trust for every animal and owner who walks through our doors. Duties Assist veterinary technicians and veterinarians with animal examinations, treatments, and procedures, including animal restraint and medication administration. Handle a variety of animals confidently, utilizing animal handling skills Maintain a clean and safe environment by practicing aseptic techniques during procedures like animal catheterization and laboratory sample collection. Support front desk operations by scheduling appointments, managing patient records, processing payments, and answering client inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm. Ensure proper animal husbandry practices are followed to promote overall well-being and comfort of hospitalized animals. Assist with laboratory work, record keeping, and other veterinary clinic tasks to ensure smooth daily operations. Experience Prior Experience working in veterinary clinics or hospitals highly preferre. Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal physiology, anatomy, and critical care practices is essential. Hands-on experience with front desk responsibilities such as client communication, appointment scheduling, and billing enhances your fit for this role. Demonstrated ability to handle animals safely during tasks is a strong asset. Familiarity with aseptic techniques, laboratory procedures, and veterinary assistant responsibilities will help you excel in this position. A passion for pet care combined with excellent communication skills will enable you to thrive in our team environment. Pay:
$17.00 - $21.00 per hour
