Description Veterinary Assistant Full-time Anderson Veterinary Clinic Anderson, CA Compensation is negotiable based on experience and credentials, with an expected starting range of $ 19
  • $ 21 / hour.
The actual pay will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. About You As a Veterinary Assistant, you'll be a key part of our patient care team, helping ensure smooth workflow, quality care, and a positive client experience. Your Experience & Skills At least 1 year of experience as a Veterinary Assistant required Compassionate, reliable, and dedicated to teamwork Strong communication and client service skills Experience in vaccine protocols, and surgical monitoring preferred Ability to safely handle and restrain dogs and cats of all sizes Basic knowledge of veterinary procedures, terminology, and daily patient care A willingness to learn, grow, and support the team in a collaborative environmen t Must be available to work a rotating Saturday schedule Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): Assisting veterinarians and technicians during exams, treatments, and surgical procedures Supporting and advocating for pets while educating clients with warmth and clarity Helping with patient handling, sample collection, and basic in-house lab testing Maintaining accurate medical records and contributing to efficient patient flow Keeping exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment clean, organized, and ready for use Bringing a positive, team-oriented mindset to support excellent patient care You'll Grow with Us Here, you can grow your career as best fits you through access to comprehensive learning and skillset programs.
