Job Description

Experienced Veterinary Assistant - Companion Animal Wellness Center Companion Animal Wellness Center is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our growing Fear Free and integrative veterinary practice. We're looking for a compassionate, skilled professional who enjoys working closely with patients, clients, veterinarians, and RVTs to provide exceptional care. This is not an entry-level position.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting with patient care, treatments, and procedures Anesthesic and surgical monitoring Blood draws and laboratory procedures Medical record documentation Client education and communication Fear Free patient handling
Qualifications:
Veterinary Assistant experience required Strong animal handling and patient care skills Excellent communication and teamwork Dentistry and anesthesia experience preferred Exotic animal experience is a plus Our privately owned hospital combines conventional veterinary medicine with acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine, and VOM.
