Job Description

We are looking for a passionate, motivated Equine Vet Tech/Vet Assistant to join our team. If you have a desire to provide top-notch veterinary care, are a team player and a self-motivated hard worker, we want you! Horse handling experience is preferred. (Must be 21 or older to apply) Key job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
  • Assisting doctor with exam, treatments, and surgeries.
  • Driving vet trucks to and from farm call appointments.
  • Performing diagnostics (bloodwork, radiographs, etc.)
  • Hospital and vetbox cleaning, stocking and maintenance.
  • Client communication
  • Administering medications, vaccinations and treatments.
  • Occasionally lifting equipment (up to 50 lbs.
), restraining foals and jogging horses. Pay based on experience, must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
