Veterinary Assistant

What Success Looks Like in This Role Anticipating doctor needs and helping appointments flow smoothly Keeping patient safety as the top priority Communicating clearly and respectfully with doctors, technicians, and CSRs Completing medical notes and documentation in real time Pitching in during downtime to keep the hospital clean, stocked, and ready Daily Clinical Responsibilities Sign up for appointments at the start of the day Obtain TPR on all patients Start estimates or confirm treatment plans with the doctor Complete medical notes during downtime Clean, reset, and restock tools and work areas Anesthesia, Procedures & Equipment Assist with anesthesia setup and patient monitoring Prepare treatment and surgery areas Follow established safety and procedure guidelines Help with surgery room setup and breakdown Inventory & Hospital Readiness Assist with inventory control and restocking Ensure exam rooms, treatment areas, and surgery suites are fully prepared Maintain accurate records, logs, and treatment documentation Patient Care & Support Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures Support smooth checkout by ensuring records are complete and accurate Advocate for patient comfort and safety at every step What We're Looking For Previous veterinary clinic experience (required) Full-time availability and reliability Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask Positive attitude and team-first mindset Clear, professional communication skills Why You'll Enjoy Working With Us Supportive, team-oriented hospital culture Clear expectations and structured workflows Opportunity to grow and expand clinical skills Work with a team that values quality medicine and mutual respect How to
