Veterinary Assistant / Kennel Attendant 326 Adams Circle, Corona, CA 92882 From $17 an hour - Full-time From $17 an hour - Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and hardworking Veterinary Assistant / Kennel Attendant to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with animals and thrives in a fast-paced veterinary hospital environment. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams and treatments Properly restrain pets for procedures and examinations Prepare exam rooms and maintain cleanliness throughout the hospital Monitor hospitalized and boarding pets Feed, walk, and care for dogs and cats Clean kennels, cages, and hospital areas Laundry, dishes, and general cleaning duties Observe pets for signs of illness or distress and report concerns Assist with bathing and basic animal care Maintain accurate medical records when needed Provide compassionate care and excellent customer service Qualifications Previous veterinary or animal care experience preferred Must be comfortable handling dogs and cats of all sizes Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, professional, and team-oriented Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and restrain pets safely Weekend availability is required
