In this vital role, you will serve as the friendly and efficient first point of contact for pet owners and clients, ensuring their experience is positive, informative, and compassionate. Your expertise in animal care and veterinary procedures will help facilitate smooth clinic operations, support veterinary staff, and promote outstanding pet care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine your love for animals with excellent customer service skills in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. Responsibilities Greet clients warmly and assist them with appointment scheduling, check-ins, and check-outs, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Manage medical collections accurately by processing payments and explaining billing procedures clearly to pet owners. Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information about services, appointments, and pet care advice. Assist with kennel management by cleaning, feeding, and monitoring animals' health and behavior during their stay. Maintain detailed records of animal treatments, laboratory results, and medical histories following aseptic techniques and veterinary terminology standards. Skills Extensive knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal anatomy to communicate effectively with veterinary professionals and clients. Strong understanding of veterinary critical care practices and emergency response protocols. Experience in kennel management with a focus on animal husbandry and pet care routines. Excellent communication skills to explain complex medical procedures clearly to pet owners. Capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude in a busy environment.
