We are currently looking for: •ONE•Full-Time Veterinary Technician / Assistant /
RVT The Role:
Veterinary Technician / Assistant / RVT Successful candidates will have the knowledge and ability to safely care for patients from start to finish, along with the confidence to support clients from intake to discharge and beyond. Experience is required. We're looking for individuals who can hit the ground running with the following responsibilities:
Patient Care & Technical Skills:
Accurate, safe, and appropriate patient handling, phlebotomy, IV/IM/SQ injection administration, radiograph positioning and execution, ultrasound-guided cystocentesis, IV catheter placement, sample preparation, medication administration, accurate drug dosage/dilution/fluid therapy calculations, prescription fulfillment, and various other technical tasks.
Communication & Client Support:
Communicate clearly and respectfully with colleagues (veterinarians, fellow techs, kennel attendants, and CSRs) and clients to ensure patients receive the best possible care. Be friendly and flexible in the face of varying expectations.
Teamwork & Problem-Solving:
Multi-task, prioritize effectively, and think creatively to solve problems. Be a positive, kind, compassionate, courteous, and accountable team player who is willing to jump in and assist other team members as needed. You should be able to balance working with minimal supervision while also identifying your own limitations and asking for help when needed.
Schedule & Availability:
Closing, alternating Saturday, and/or holiday shifts may be required. Attendance at quarterly staff meetings is expected to maintain team building and growth. Benefits & Perks For our full-time employees, we offer a competitive benefits package, including:
