Veterinary Receptionist/ Assistant Experienced

Responsibilities Greet clients warmly and manage appointment scheduling to optimize clinic flow Handle phone inquiries, provide information about services, and confirm appointments Assist with animal restraint during examinations, treatments, and procedures to ensure safety for pets and staff Maintain accurate patient records, update medical histories, and document treatments using veterinary software Prepare exam rooms with necessary supplies and ensure a clean, organized environment following aseptic techniques Assist with laboratory procedures such as sample collection and processing to support diagnostic efforts Provide compassionate pet care including feeding, grooming assistance, and basic animal physiology knowledge Support kennel duties by caring for hospitalized animals and ensuring their comfort during recovery Qualifications Prior veterinary clinic or assistant experience of 2 or more years is essential; familiarity with veterinary terminology is highly valued Experience in veterinary critical care or emergency settings is a plus Skilled in animal handling techniques including dog handling, restraint, catheterization, and medication administration Knowledge of laboratory procedures related to veterinary diagnostics Ability to work efficiently at the front desk managing multiple tasks simultaneously Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members A passion for pet care, animal welfare, and providing exceptional customer service Join us in making a difference in the lives of animals and their owners!
