Job Description:
- Assist with patient care and treatment.
- Monitor hospitalization pets / Monitor/aid in caring for animals after surgery.
- Maintaining inventory and stocking
- Restrain animals during blood draws and nail trims.
- Aiding with routine diagnostic tests (i.e. Taking radiographs, running bloodwork, ultrasound, optical exam, neurologic testing)
- Maintaining & sterilize surgical instruments / equipment.
- Clean / Disinfect cages, kennels, exam and treatment areas of hospitalization.
- Administering medications under Veterinarian/ Vet Tech supervision
- Feeding / bathing animals
- Customer Service & Answering Phones
- Helping clients with their pets
- The desire to perform a multitude of veterinary assistant tasks under direct supervision of the veterinarian including blood draws, catheter placement, obtaining urine/stool samples, surgical preparation and assistance, and MORE!

Full-time and Part-time Salary:
Commensurate with experienceQualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be a self
- starter, able to multitask and a team player.
- Genuinely enjoys working with animals and can deal with them when they are stressed, ill or in pain.
- Prefer 1+ years of small and large animal experiences (not required)
- Ability to meet physical requirements lifting, carrying, walking, and standing for long periods of time.
- Monday, Wednesday & Friday 3-day schedule with 12-hour shifts and just one Saturday a month.
- We eventually plan to go back to our regular 4-day schedule with 10-hour shifts.
- Rotating weekend availability is required
- Reliable Vehicle (Required)
