Job Description

VCA Mission Animal and Bird Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team.
Location:
655 Benet Rd, Oceanside, CA 92058
Salary:
$21 to $22 per hour
Schedule:
Full-time, Thursday - Sunday, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm or 8:30 am to 7:00 pm In this position, you will be supporting our Doctors and Technician team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients.
Duties will include:
Maintaining medical records. Preparing the surgical suite and surgical patients. Filling prescriptions. Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging. Providing compassionate care and a home away from home for boarded and hospitalized pets.
