Kennel Assistant

We're a small veterinary practice looking for an enthusiastic individual looking to make their start in the veterinary field. The kennel assistant helps assist in daily hospital functions to keep the office run smoothly. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Hospital cleaning and maintenance Cleaning and preparation of surgical equipment Laundry Cleaning kennels as they empty Data entry Filling prescriptions Recovering animals after surgery Walking pets that are hospitalized for the day Animal restraint to assist the veterinarian and veterinary nurses Grooming tasks including nail trims, anal gland expressions, and shaving for surgical procedures We're looking for a self-starter who is excited to learn more about the veterinary industry. Growth opportunities are available for the right candidate.
