• 6:30pm ACCESS Specialty Animal Hospital Pasadena is seeking an experienced Specialty Doctor's Assistant to join our Emergency/Critical Care team!

Ideal candidates:

• Minimum 1 year veterinary/doctor's assistant experience
• Ability to multitask
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• A friendly and professional demeanor
• Critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail Your responsibilities may include:
• Serve the critical role of being the liaison between doctors, clients, and patients
• Organize/ track patient diagnostics
• Coordinate hospitalized patient treatment, and present estimates
• Prepare patient discharge reports/ in-hospital updates
• Communicate with clients, referring DVMs; and pharmacies as needed regarding appointments, medical concerns, patient updates, referrals, and prescriptions.
• Utilize EzyVet Software
• Work in a very high volume, fast paced environment
