Job Description

Job Overview Join our veterinary team as a Veterinary Assistant and become a vital part of providing exceptional animal care! In this role, you will assist with daily clinical tasks, animal handling, and client interactions. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help ensure our furry patients receive compassionate care in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist with animal restraint and handling to ensure safety during examinations, treatments, and procedures Support vets with medication administration, laboratory work, and sample collection Maintain cleanliness and aseptic techniques within treatment areas to promote infection control Provide pet care and animal husbandry, including feeding, cleaning pets, and monitoring health status Assist with injections and other clinical procedures under supervision Support clinic operations by cleaning enclosures, monitoring animal behavior, and ensuring proper housing conditions Skills Prior pet experience combined with animal husbandry knowledge Veterinary clinic experience with familiarity in veterinary terminology and protocols Ability to perform animal restraint safely and effectively for dogs and cats Knowledge of laboratory procedures, medication administration, and aseptic techniques Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members Understanding of animal physiology, anatomy, and pet care best practices Join us in delivering compassionate veterinary care!
