Pay is based on experience. Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure smooth clinic operations Expedites patient care and efficiency of the staff In charge of patient care standards Assist veterinarians with complex procedures, including animal restraint, catheterization, and aseptic techniques for surgery Oversee laboratory testing procedures, including sample collection, processing, and analysis for accurate diagnostics Perform dental procedures and monitor anesthesia Ensure proper animal husbandry practices, including feeding, cleaning, and maintaining animal physiology standards Train and supervise team members. Maintain detailed records of control drug log, and patient care Educating and communicating efficiently with owners Must lead the team by example, demonstrating organizational skills, following company policies, and maintaining a professional attitude. Proficiency in veterinary critical care practices and familiarity with laboratory procedures and equipment Skilled in animal catheterization, blood draw, restraint techniques, and aseptic procedures to ensure safety during treatments Knowledge of surgical equipment and ability to setup and assist the doctor during surgeries Induce, intubate and monitor patients under anesthesia.
