Job Description

Position Overview:
We are seeking an ideal candidate who brings a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients throughout all stages of treatment using Fear Free techniques. Work collaboratively with the veterinary team to ensure efficient workflow and an outstanding client experience. Assist veterinarians with examinations, diagnostic procedures, treatments, surgery, and anesthesia as appropriate to training and credentials. Obtain accurate patient histories, vital signs, and diagnostic samples. Administer medications, treatments, and nursing care according to hospital protocols and applicable regulations. Monitor hospitalized and surgical patients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Educate clients regarding preventative care, treatment plans, medications, and post-treatment instructions. Maintain complete, accurate, and timely medical records. Uphold cleanliness, organization, and safety standards throughout the hospital.
Required Qualifications:
A minimum of two years previous veterinary experience in a clinical setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work professionally and respectfully with clients, coworkers, and veterinarians. Demonstrated commitment to high-quality work, accuracy, and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment. Positive, solution-oriented attitude and a willingness to contribute to team success. Reliable attendance and a strong professional work ethic.
PreferredFor Registered Veterinary Technician Applicants:
Current
RVT/LVT/CVT
credential in good standing.
For Veterinary Assistant Applicants:
Veterinary assistant training and/or equivalent hands-on veterinary experience. VACSP in good standing or ability to obtain permit.
