About Us Our state-of-the-art Small Animal Hospital provides exceptional veterinary care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. We're seeking a dedicated professional to join our team in a role that combines front desk reception with basic veterinary assistant duties. Position Overview In this dynamic role, you'll be the welcoming face of our practice while also providing essential support to our veterinary team. This position offers the perfect opportunity to grow your career in veterinary medicine while making a difference in the lives of pets and their owners. Key Responsibilities Warmly greet clients and their pets, managing check-in/check-out processes Handle multi-line phone system, schedule appointments, and respond to client inquiries Process payments and maintain accurate client records Assist veterinary staff with animal restraint and handling during examinations (if needed) Support the medical team with basic procedures and vaccination preparation Maintain cleanliness and organization in reception and exam areas Qualifications Minimum 6 months experience in a veterinary hospital setting Proficient with veterinary practice management software and general office applications Understanding of common vaccination protocols and veterinary terminology Strong ability to safely handle and restrain animals of various sizes Excellent customer service and communication skills Detail-oriented with ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment Team player with a positive attitude and self-motivation Having blood drawing or placing IV catheter experience is a plus Why Join Us?
