Description Veterinary Assistant Park Animal Hospital San Francisco, CA Full-time Compensation is negotiable based on experience and credentials, with an expected starting range of $22
  • 28/hour .
The final pay will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 5-8 hours per day. No Weekends! About You As a Veterinary Assistant, you'll support patient care from intake through discharge. In this role, you'll assist with outpatient treatments, collect samples, run basic lab work, support procedures, and help create a smooth, compassionate experience for pets and their families. You care deeply about patient outcomes, and we're committed to supporting your growth and success. Qualifications At least 1 year of veterinary assistant experience highly preferred Must be comfortable with proper animal restraint, patient handling, and maintaining a clean, organized hospital environment Experience giving injections and drawing blood preferred Comfortable monitoring anesthesia and using standard patient monitoring equipment Collaborative team player who is eager to learn and self-motivated Enjoys a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities Proficient computer skills Able to multitask, stay organized, and prioritize effectively Responsibilities ( include but are not limited to): Assist with patient restraint, handling, and basic nursing care, including pre
