Schedule:
Full-time, Monday-Friday. Hospital hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with team member shifts typically ranging from 8:15 AM to 5:30 PM. Compensation is negotiable based on experience and credentials, with an expected starting range of $18

The final compensation will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. About You You are an experienced Veterinary Assistant with 3+ years of veterinary hospital experience in general practice. You are confident supporting exams, treatments, outpatient care, surgery, dental procedures, dental radiographs, IV catheter placement, and patient nursing care. You communicate clearly with clients, stay organized in a fast-paced hospital environment, and take pride in delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care. Veterinary Assistant Responsibilities Assist veterinarians with patient exams, treatments, and outpatient procedures Support soft tissue surgeries, including surgical prep, patient monitoring, and recovery Perform and assist with dental cleanings, dental procedures, and dental radiographs Obtain high-quality diagnostic radiographs and support imaging as needed Place, maintain, and monitor IV catheters Provide patient nursing care, including restraint, monitoring, and recovery support Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, discharge instructions, and preventive care Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient treatment area and hospital workflow Work collaboratively with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to deliver excellent patient care Required Qualifications 3+ years of veterinary assistant experience in a veterinary hospital, preferably in general practice Hands-on experience supporting soft tissue surgery, dental procedures, dental radiographs, and patient nursing care Proficiency with IV catheter placement and diagnostic radiology Strong client communication, teamwork, and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment You'll Grow with Us Here, you can grow your career as best fits you through access to comprehensive learning and skillset programs.
