• Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to animals and supporting veterinarians in various clinical procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of animal physiology and the ability to perform tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Must have open availability Mon-Sat 9am-8pm

Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarians with examinations, procedures, and surgeries
• Prepare and restrain animals for examinations and treatments
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed by the veterinarian
• Perform laboratory tests and collect samples for diagnostic purposes
• Clean and maintain examination rooms, surgical areas, and equipment

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2yr experience in a Veterinary hospital
• Knowledge of animal behavior and handling techniques
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to lift and restrain animals of various sizes and weights
• Basic computer skills for record keeping purposes Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.

We are a privately owned GP Veterinary, community based small animal clinic seeking loyal and dedicated individuals. Experience with NEO software is a plus. NO walk ins or phone calls.
