Veterinary Assistant

We are a privately owned, AAHA certified small animal practice that strives to build lasting relationships within the community through honest, open communication and high quality veterinary care. We are looking for the perfect addition to our team who will strive to not only provide the best possible care to our patients but also foster relationships with our clients. The ideal candidate would be a quick learner and hard worker who possesses strong interpersonal skills. We are looking to fill the position of veterinary assistant. Responsibilities of this job include but are not limited to: assisting the doctors with their appointments, assist with anesthetic procedures, surgical monitoring, venipuncture and IV catheter placement are a plus, animal restraint, lab procedures such as in-house urinalysis and blood panels, filling prescriptions, some front desk duties, record keeping, and kennel cleaning. Prefer 2 years or more of experience Pay is D.O.E.
