We pride ourselves on delivering modern, high-quality medical care using up-to-date technology. Our team is dedicated to treating every patient as if they were our own. We are open Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Position Overview We are hiring four full-time Veterinary Assistants . Full-time is defined as 5 days per week, open-to-close shifts . This role is ideal for individuals who are: Highly motivated to learn and grow in the veterinary field Reliable and able to maintain consistent attendance Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment Passionate about animal care and client service No prior veterinary experience is required — we will train the right candidates. Key Responsibilities Read and maintain accurate medical records Obtain patient vitals (weight, temperature, heart rate, respiratory rate) Collect patient history and communicate effectively with veterinarians Assist with exams and treatments Perform tasks such as vaccines, nail trims, ear cleanings, blood draws, and radiographs Educate clients and present treatment plans Discharge patients with clear medication instructions Additional Duties (Kennel & Support Tasks): Safely handle and restrain cats and dogs Lift and carry up to 50 lbs Maintain cleanliness (exam rooms, kennels, laundry, trash, etc.) Prepare and sterilize surgical and dental equipment Assist with procedures including anesthesia and imaging Accurately prepare medications Schedule Requirements Must be available for full shifts starting at 9:00 AM and ending between 6:30-7:00 PM Must be available to work both Mondays and Saturdays Must be comfortable working with both dogs and cats Compensation & Benefits 401(k) + matching Health, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off Employee discounts Application Requirement (IMPORTANT) To be considered, applicants must include a brief cover letter .
