This position is for 4/10hr shifts with a 30-minute meal period, Monday through Thursday. The salary range is $24 - $29 per hour and may be negotiable based on experience and credentials. VetSurg offers Medical, Vision, and Dental coverage for all full-time employees as well as a 401K after the 90 introductory period. PTO and sick pay accrual apply after this period as well. Overnight Veterinary Assistants must possess good critical thinking and problem-solving skills, compassion, a positive attitude, excellent communication, and work well with others. It is the Overnight Veterinary Assistant's responsibility to carry out and record treatment orders as prescribed by the surgeon. They are also responsible for communicating with the surgeons if questions or concerns arise. This job description does not necessarily cover every task or duty that might be assigned. There may be additional responsibilities assigned as necessary.
