$18-20/hour, based on experience and qualifications. What You'll Do As a Veterinary Assistant/Technician, you'll play a vital role in patient care and daily hospital operations by: Supporting veterinarians during exams, treatments, and procedures Placing IV catheters and performing blood draws and injections (IV, IM, SQ) Monitoring anesthesia and utilizing advanced monitoring equipment Assisting with surgeries and procedures in accordance with Colorado regulations Collecting, documenting, and maintaining accurate patient histories and medical records Communicating with clients about individualized pet health concerns, medications, and treatment plans Using safe restraint techniques and maintaining clean, sterile treatment areas Supporting efficient patient flow and smooth hospital operations Collaborating with and supporting fellow team members What We're Looking For Required Experience & Skills Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary technician experience with direct patient care Proficiency in IV catheter placement, bloodwork, and injections Experience monitoring anesthesia and working with monitoring equipment Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team ‑ oriented mindset Commitment to empathetic, gold ‑ standard veterinary medicine You'll Thrive Here If You Are Detail ‑ oriented and clinically confident Compassionate and patient ‑ focused Motivated to grow and advance in your veterinary career You'll Grow with Us Here, you can grow your career as best fits you through access to comprehensive learning and skillset programs.
