Job Description

  • We're Hiring at Guardian Angel Veterinary Care!
  • We're a privately owned veterinary clinic seeking a dedicated full-time Veterinary Technician/Assistant to join our tight-knit team.
We are a high-volume, low cost clinic primarily focused on surgery, dentistry and vaccines. The ideal candidate excels in a fast-paced environment, easily manages multiple tasks, truly loves working with animals, maintains outstanding reliability and attendance, and collaborates effectively with the entire staff. Duties will vary based on your experience level and may include:
  • Greeting clients, delivering excellent customer service, and handling other front-desk responsibilities
  • Stocking supplies, cleaning, and maintaining the facility
  • Performing in-house lab work such as blood panels, urinalysis, and other tests
  • Drawing blood samples (if experienced)
  • Safely restraining animals during exams and procedures
  • Supporting veterinarians with appointments, treatment planning, and client communication
  • Helping surgery technicians with anesthetic induction, patient monitoring, and post-op recovery
  • Taking full responsibility for surgical induction, monitoring, and recovery (for those with relevant experience)
  • Assisting in dental procedures and capturing diagnostic radiographs (for experienced candidates)
  • Administering vaccinations, medications, and providing care for in-hospital patients
  • And various other tasks as needed

  • Schedule:
  • Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, plus must be available to work every other Saturday with a weekday off.
  • Pay:
  • $22•28 per hour, determined by your experience and skill level.
