We're looking for Part Time help on weekends Saturdays 10-2 and Sundays 11-3 . //www.petvet365.com/locations/boulder Key Responsibilities Lives and exemplifies the Petvet365 Purpose, Mission and Vision within self and team Provides compassionate care to patients and clients with strong Fear FreeTM principles Performs all duties in accordance with hospital medical policies and procedures Checks clients in and out, and sends out appointment reminders Works on billing & overdue payment plans Follows up on client questions, requests and ensures the team responds in a timely manner Answers telephones, emails, and text messages Enters information into practice computer systems Prepares invoices & estimates Prepares and maintains the exam rooms and treatment areas Gives injections and administers oral medications in accordance with hospital policy Assists in emergency procedures like CPR under doctor supervision Assists in restraining pets Takes radiographs, fills prescriptions, and runs blood, urine, & feces labwork Admits and discharges patients Makes follow-up calls to clients Administers care for animals such as feeding, giving baths, grooming, collecting specimens and other duties as assigned by the doctor Records any unusual condition or abnormal behavior Cleans equipment and facilities, using materials and equipment with skill and efficiency Communicates usage and dosage for all prescription drugs and can readily explain them to the clients Cleans all surgical materials and stocks the operating room to prepare for surgery Assists other staff members as required Maintains positive, cooperative relationships with other employees Other duties as assigned Feels and expresses a genuine liking for pets and for working in a pet care environment Deals intelligibly, pleasantly, and efficiently with clients on the telephone and in person, often doing several things at one time Displays tact and diplomacy with staff members and clients Works almost constantly in the presence of other staff members and clients Flexible in attitude and work habits This position works in conjunction with all other positions in the hospital to provide the best care for the animals in PetVet365's care.

$19.00 - $22.00 per hour
