Our work focuses on reducing pet overpopulation, preventing disease, and increasing access to essential veterinary services for underserved communities. We are a fast-paced, collaborative team committed to efficiency, compassion, and excellent patient care. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians and technicians in a high-volume spay/neuter, dentistry, and vaccine clinic setting, supporting efficient daily workflow. Prepare patients for surgical and dental procedures, including intake, patient identification, pre-operative setup, and transport to and from treatment areas. Support perioperative care by assisting with patient preparation and closely monitoring recovery to ensure safe anesthetic outcomes. Assist with high-volume vaccine clinics, including patient intake, safe handling, vaccine preparation, and efficient client flow. Safely and efficiently restrain patients for examinations, treatments, and pre-operative procedures. Assist with dental procedures, including patient preparation, instrument setup, and maintaining a clean and organized dental workspace. Monitor patients during recovery and promptly communicate any concerns or changes in condition to the medical team. Administer medications and treatments as directed. Support laboratory tasks and sample handling as needed. Maintain accurate, concise medical records in a fast-paced environment. Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients during check-in and discharge, including reviewing post-operative, dental, and vaccine care instructions. Anticipate team needs and contribute to an organized, efficient workflow that supports high patient volume without compromising quality of care. Clean, disinfect, and maintain surgical suites, dental areas, kennels, and equipment in accordance with clinic protocols and high-volume standards.
