The ideal candidate MUST have experience working in the veterinary field. Kennel and Grooming/Boarding experience will be considered. Candidate must be customer service oriented with a great attitude and work ethic. Need someone who is great on the phones and can learn our veterinarian software for scheduling. Ideal candidate must be ready to greet clients and patients upon their arrival to the office and ready to assist. Candidate will be responsible for surgery intake in the mornings and checkouts in the afternoons. Fill any down time with organizing, cleaning and phones throughout the day. Occasional basic restraint in treatment area with dogs and cats will be trained. This is mostly a clerical need but ideally we want someone available to cross train. Must be reliable and show up for work, on time and when schedueld. A desire to learn and the ability to multitask in a busy atmosphere are key requirements. • schedule includes two Saturday shifts per month, typical daily hours, 8:15am-4:30pm weekdays and Saturdays 9am-2pm, with some flexibility. Job is in two locations, IN PERSON-Monroe and Norwalk CT. Only apply if you are willing to go to BOTH locations during the week. Mondays and Wednesdays in Monroe and Tuesdays and Thursdays in Norwalk (typical, but can vary). Fridays alternate between locations and we ask that you work one Saturday a month in Monroe, CT. We have awesome Christmas parties, Christmas Bonuses and we work hard but play hard too when appropriate. Growing practice. Currently 4-6 doctors between locations. We are family owned and operated with locations in Norwalk, Monroe, Dayville and Danbury CT. We also have two locations in Chicago. The hiring for this position is for Norwalk and Monroe
