About the role:

As an MPA, you will support veterinarians and technicians in delivering exceptional patient care while ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient hospital environment. As this is considered an introductory role, you can look forward to learning some of the following, among others: Assist with examinations, treatments, and procedures Practice safe restraint techniques for exams, diagnostics, and treatments Cleaning and sterilization of surgical instruments Cleaning and stocking of exam rooms, treatment areas, and kennels Assist with laboratory sample collection and processing Learn how to communicate with clients in a professional and empathetic manner Monitor hospitalized patients and document and report changes promptly The goal of this role is to provide an introduction into specialty veterinary medicine and as you gain experience, find you a permanent department after 90 days.

Schedule:

This is a full-time position. Five 8-hour shifts per week. Schedule dependent upon rotation. What's in it for you?
