We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician or highly experienced Assistant to join our clinical team. Patient Care:
Assist veterinarians in medical and surgical procedures, adhering to high standards of nursing care.Technical Skills:
Proficiently perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, radiography (positioning and safety), and in-house laboratory testing.Anesthesia & Surgery:
Monitor anesthesia from induction to recovery using multi-parameter monitoring equipment; strictly follow surgical prep and sterile technique protocols.Client Communication:
Educate clients on preventative care, post-operative instructions, and medication administration with compassion and clarity.Records:
Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with Florida state requirements.Qualifications:
Preferred:
2+ years of experience in a veterinary clinical setting.CVT/LVT/RVT
preferred , but experienced assistants with strong technical skills are encouraged to apply. Proficiency in safe animal handling and restraint. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.Compensation & Benefits:
