Job Description

Eau Gallie Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Part-Time Veterinary Technician to join our team.
Schedule:
Part time: Monday-Friday 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM Full time: Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri 8:00am-6:00pm
Off Wednesdays & Weekends Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years veterinary technician experience Must be comfortable working with dogs, cats, exotics, and wildlife Strong patient care, communication, and multitasking skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities May Include:
Assisting veterinarians with examinations and treatments Monitoring hospitalized patients Administering medications and treatments Collecting laboratory samples and running in-house diagnostics Assisting with radiographs, ultrasound procedures, and emergency cases Surgical and anesthesia support when needed Placing IV catheters and monitoring fluid therapy Handling and restraining a variety of species, including birds, reptiles, small mammals, and wildlife patients Maintaining accurate medical records Client communication and discharge instructions Cleaning and stocking treatment areas We are a busy, privately owned, multi-doctor practice that sees a wide variety of cases, including exotics and wildlife. This position is ideal for a technician who enjoys learning, thrives in a team environment, and is looking for something beyond routine dog and cat medicine.
Compensation:
Pay is based on experience and skill level.
