Experienced Kennel Technician

Narcoossee Oaks Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced Kennel Technician to join our team. This is a full-time position for someone who is reliable, hardworking, and comfortable working in a fast-paced veterinary environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide daily care for boarding and hospitalized pets (feeding, walking, cleaning, medications) Monitor patient health and report any concerns to the veterinary team Clean and maintain kennels, treatment areas, and hospital spaces Assist with bathing and nail trims Help with animal restraint when needed Support general hospital upkeep (laundry, dishes, mopping, yard maintenance)

Requirements:

Prior kennel or animal care experience required (veterinary setting preferred) Ability to handle dogs and cats safely and confidently Dependable and able to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable with physical work (lifting up to 40 lbs, standing for long periods) Willing to work weekends and holidays on a rotating schedule
