We are a privately owned progressive small animal clinic located in the medical district of Augusta, GA. This position offers opportunities for growth and creativity in a supportive friendly environment. Exceptional client communication, ability to work efficiently within a team, self-motivation, detail orientation, compassion toward patient and clients, and an interest in high quality medicine a MUST! Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of veterinary medical experience Willing to learn and grow Outstanding work ethic Exceptional communication skills Exceptional client and patient care capabilities Foster a positive and encouraging team approach Flexible schedule to enhance a positive work-life balance. No after-hours emergency duties required, however occasional limited after hours care may be necessary at times to meet the needs of our patients. We offer in-house lab, digital radiographs, ultrasound, Companion Laser, computer based record keeping, and monthly training. Responsibilities will include but not limited to: Client education and communication Safe and compassionate patient handling Computer based record keeping Laboratory services Radiology Calculating and administering medication Collecting blood and other lab samples Placing catheters Surgical monitoring Managing appointments and inpatient cases with high level of competency Exhibit professionalism and supportive positivity within a team setting Salary and benefits negotiable and based on experience level.
