What You'll Do:
As a vet assistant, you will: Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures Monitor anesthesia and support patients before, during, and after surgery Support diagnostic and treatment procedures to help the day run smoothly Collect and process lab samples Administer medications and vaccines as directed Educate clients on pet care, treatment plans, and preventative health Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and ready for whatever the day brings Safely restrain patients while keeping their comfort top of mind Manage medical records accurately Greet clients and create a welcoming visit from check-in to check-out

Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a veterinary setting (required) Ability to commute to Conyers, GA 30094 (required) High school diploma or equivalent Strong multitasking and teamwork skills Ability to lift animals and stand for long periods Punctual, reliable, and eager to learn
