We are looking for you. This full time position is approximately 35-40 hours/week including Sunday.

We are a 2 doctor practice looking for an experienced Veterinary assistant/technician to assist with the continued growth of our business. Assistant/Technician to work in exam rooms, treatment/ICU area and surgery. Experience in all these areas and their associated technical skills are a must. Depending on the applicant's qualifications, duties would include, but not be limited to the following: Surgical assisting, prep, monitoring and recovery, Dental cleanings, Digital x-rays, blood collection , placement of IV catheters, setting up and monitoring IV pumps, administering medications, running in-house diagnostics, reading slides, fill prescriptions, seeing appointment rooms with doctors, and obtaining patient histories. Ability to confidently speak with clients, able to implement humane, effective animal restraint. Applicant must be a dependable, responsible team player who can communicate well with both co-workers and clients. Someone who can follow directions, pay attention to detail, prioritize the tasks at hand, and organize their time efficiently. Must possess a positive attitude and have lots of patience for pets and their owners.
