Kennel Assistant

Hours will be 4

• 10 hours shifts Sunday-Friday 8-6PM ```Duties```
• Handle and restrain animals during examinations and treatments.
• Administer medications and vaccinations as directed.
• Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
• Clean and maintain, kennels, and surgical areas
• Provide post-operative care and monitor animals during recovery
• Clinic operations are Sunday-Friday and Sundays will be required.
• Daily animal care.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds ```Experience```
• Previous experience as a kennel tech or in a related field preferred
• Ability to handle animals with care and compassion
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Excellent communication skills to interact with veterinarians, colleagues, and pet owners
