You will be responsible for maintaining clean and safe kennel environments, assisting with animal handling, and supporting daily clinic operations. Duties Provide compassionate care by feeding, watering, and cleaning kennels to ensure a hygienic environment for all animals. Assist veterinary staff with animal restraint during examinations, treatments, and procedures to ensure safety for both animals and team members. Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians, following necessary aseptic techniques and safety protocols. Support animal husbandry tasks including bathing, grooming, and monitoring behavioral or health changes. Handle animals during intake and discharge processes at the front desk, ensuring proper documentation and communication. Maintain accurate records of animal care activities, medication schedules, and treatment notes in compliance with clinic standards. Support laboratory procedures such as sample collection or specimen handling when needed to assist diagnostic processes. Skills Previous kennel experience or animal care background is preferred but not required. Skilled in animal handling techniques including dog and cat handling and restraint methods are preferred but not required. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and compassion for animals.
