Veterinary Assistant/Technician

## Overview We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Assistant or Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and possess the necessary skills to assist in providing high-quality care to our furry patients. ## Duties

• Assist veterinarians in routine examinations, surgeries, and dental procedures
• Perform laboratory tests such as blood work and urinalysis
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian
• Handle and restrain animals during procedures
• Take and develop X-rays
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Provide post-operative care and monitoring of patients
• Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment plans ## Qualifications
• Certification as a Veterinary Technician/Assistant is beneficial
• Proficiency in veterinary terminology and aseptic techniques
• Ability to handle animals with care and compassion
