We are looking for a motivated professional who is compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional patient care and client service. Position Requirements Qualified candidates must have prior veterinary clinic experience and demonstrate strong clinical knowledge along with excellent interpersonal skills.

Ideal applicants will possess:

Previous veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience (required) A positive attitude and strong work ethic The ability to work effectively as part of a team Leadership skills and the ability to take initiative A solid understanding of vaccine protocols and preventative care Excellent phone etiquette and strong client communication skills Compassionate, professional, and active listening abilities Confidence in handling and restraining patients safely Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency with technology, including computers, veterinary software, apps, printers, and payment processing devices Availability to work full-time, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM Flexibility to assist both in the treatment area and at the front desk when needed Major Responsibilities The Veterinary Technician / Assistant will play a vital role in supporting doctors, patients, and clients while helping maintain the daily flow of the clinic.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting with appointments and maintaining patient flow to help doctors stay on schedule Performing IV catheter placement Performing venipuncture, including both jugular and peripheral draws Conducting laboratory procedures, including reading urinalysis and sedimentation results Reading and assisting with cytology interpretation Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, including IDEXX systems (or the ability to learn quickly) Taking digital radiographs, including proper patient positioning and machine settings Confidently restraining patients for exams and procedures Communicating clearly and professionally with clients and team members Educating clients on preventative care, vaccines, and treatment recommendations Cross-training to assist with phones, scheduling, and front desk support as needed Compensation & Benefits We value our team and offer a highly competitive benefits package, including: Pay based on experience Full-time schedule: 40 hours per week plus overtime opportunities No weekends 100% employer-paid health insurance 100% employer-paid dental insurance 100% employer-paid vision insurance Paid vacation Paid sick leave Holiday pay Profit sharing Continuing education opportunities Employee discounts, including affordable veterinary care for personal pets Free preventative medications for employee pets Food discount programs How to Apply Applicants are encouraged to apply in person for priority consideration.
