Full Job Description Position Overview:

We're looking for a compassionate, dependable Veterinary Room Assistant to join our team! In this role, you'll support our veterinarians, veterinary assistants, and credentialed veterinary technicians during appointments and assist with patient care and minor procedures. You'll play an essential role in providing high-quality care and a positive experience for both pets and their people.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist DVMs, veterinary assistants, and credentialed veterinary technicians during appointments, minor procedures, and diagnostics. Proactively prepare exam rooms and set up necessary equipment for appointments and tests. Safely and gently restrain animals during exams and treatments. Obtain and record accurate vitals, collect patient histories, and communicate any changes in condition to the DVM. Collect and prepare laboratory samples (fecal, urine, ear cytologies) as instructed. Clean and maintain medical equipment and tools used in daily clinic operations. Ensure cleanliness and organization in all areas of the clinic, including exam rooms and treatment spaces. Provide friendly, professional communication to clients regarding patient updates and routine questions.

Position Requirements:
