PTO, employee pet discounts, CE support, medical insurance About the Role We are seeking a skilled, experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is confident in a busy clinical environment, works well as part of a team, and values clear communication and patient care. We are looking for someone who can step into the day-to-day flow of a veterinary hospital, support doctors and technicians effectively, and remain steady during fast-paced or changing situations. What You'll Do Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, and procedures Safely restrain animals with confidence and care Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical flow Support diagnostics (lab work, sample handling, basic imaging support as trained) Assist with surgery prep and recovery as appropriate Communicate clearly with team members to support patient care and workflow Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment and exam areas What We're Looking For Previous veterinary assistant experience required Comfort working in a fast-paced clinical setting Strong animal handling and restraint skills Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt when the day changes Clear, respectful communication with doctors, technicians, and front desk staff Willingness to ask questions and support the team when needed This Role Is a
