Job Description

We're Growing! Join a 60+ year privately owned small animal practice. As we prepare to welcome an additional DVM to our team, we are seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to support our continued growth. Grants Lick Veterinary Hospital has been serving families since 1962. We are a multi-doctor practice looking for a Veterinary Assistant who is confident in a fast-moving environment, passionate about compassionate patient and client care, and thrives in a collaborative, team-driven environment. Role:
Assist our DVM team during exams and treatments Prepare, fill, and administer medications under DVM direction Support efficient appointment flow and daily hospital operations Accurately chart patient information in real time within medical records Confidently handle and restrain patients as needed Communicate professionally with clients and collaborate closely with our team.
Minimum Qualifications:
1+ year of experience in a veterinary clinic (preferred) Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Excellent attention to detail and follow-through Motivated to continue learning and developing skills in veterinary medicine If you'd like to learn more about our practice, please visit us on Facebook or our website.
